How to Make Printable Christmas Place Cards
Step 1: Download the Free Printable
Download the Naughty or Nice Christmas place card template using the printable link below.

Step 2: Print Your Place Cards
Print the design on white cardstock for a sturdy, professional-looking finish. If your printable is designed for standard US Letter paper, select Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) in your printer settings.
For the best results, print at Actual Size or 100% scale, unless the printable instructions specify otherwise. Check the print preview before printing multiple copies.
Select the highest print quality available, and if you have a bleed setting, set it off.
Step 3: Cut Out the Cards
Carefully cut around the outlines of each place card using scissors or a paper trimmer. A paper trimmer can help you achieve straight, even edges, especially when preparing cards for a larger gathering.
Step 4: Fold the Place Cards
Fold each card along the centre(top of the striped edge) so it stands upright on the table. Use a ruler to create a crisp crease.
Step 5: Add Your Guests’ Names
Write each guest’s name in the designated area of the card. A black fine-tip marker or non-smearing pen. Don’t forget to check the naughty or nice box. For young children, opt for pencils, crayons or non-smearing markers.
Step 6: Set Your Christmas Table
Place a card at each guest’s setting, on or above the dinner plate. Pair your place cards with Christmas crackers, small gifts for a fun holiday tablescape. Guests love to see whether they made the naughty or nice list!

Tips for Success
What type of cardstock is best?
For the best results, use bright white cardstock weighing approximately 65–80 lb cover (about 175–220 gsm). It will help your place cards stand upright and give them a more polished appearance.
Coloured cardstock is not reccomended.
Embellishing Your Place Cards
Feel free to add touches of glitter, ribbon, 3D stickers or use a gold paint pen to add a little shimmer to the edges.
Recomended Printer Settings
When printing, always choose best quality in your settings panel. Choose borderless and fit to page. If your printer has a setting for bleed, make sure it is set to the off position.

I hope these free printable Christmas place cards add a little extra magic and fun to your holiday table! They’re such an easy way to make your Christmas dinner feel special without spending a lot of time or money on decorations. Simply print, cut, fold, and personalize them for a festive finishing touch your guests will love. Don’t forget to check who made Santa’s nice list this year!
