How to Make Shark Week Printable Snack Bags
1 – Download the Free Shark Week Printable Snack Bags designs.
2 – Print on brochure paper, using the shiny side of the paper.
- Printer Setting Notes
- Choose High Quality or Best Print
- Choose Borderless to avoid white borders around the edges of the page.
- If bleed is an option on your print settings, turn it off.
3 – Once printed, fold the paper, creating crease lines on each side, center the back seam in the middle.
4 – Unfold and run a line of tape across the bottom and the top on the unprinted side.
5 – Run a length of tape along the edge of one side.
6 – Press the resealable bag in the center of the paper, lining up the top edge of the bag with the top edge of the paper.
7 – Fold the sides closed and press both the top and bottom seams as well as the center back seam.
8 – Place the top and bottom edges of the bag into the paper crimper and crimp about 1/2 inch. Be careful not to force the zipper of the top edge into the crimper, as it can loosen the rollers of your crimper.
9 – Open the resealable bag and fill the bag with your favourite shark snacks.
Helpful Tips
Choosing an Alternative Paper
You can use any printer paper you’d like. Brochure paper yields the best results because it is thin photo-like paper, and as a result, the images and graphics are vibrant and professional-looking. Avoid heavy papers, such as cardstock, as it is too thick. Our designs were created for use on 8 1/2 by 11-inch landscape paper.

Follow all of the same steps, just eliminate adding the zipper bag. The zipper bags can be hard to find in store, meaning you may have to wait for a delivery.
Alternatives to Using a Crimper
You don’t need to crimp the edges. Use decorative scissors to cut a scalloped edge.
To make a crimped look, fold the edge of the snack bag back and forth in small, even accordion-style folds along the edge. Press each fold flat for a crisp crease. Use the edge of the ruler to put in a bold crease.
Use a scoring tool to add scored lines along the edges of the bag.
