These adorable snowman themed snack bags instantly turn ordinary treats into charming, gift-ready goodies. Best of all. They’re totally free to download and print at home.

What You’ll Need
- Printer
- Brochure Paper
- 5 by 7-inch Zipper bags (optional)
- Doucle Sided Tape
- Paper Crimper (optional)
How to Make Printable Snowman Chip Bags
1 – Download the printable snowman chip bags file from our free resource library

2 – Print the Snowman Chip Bags on your printer.
Recommended Printer Settings
- Paper Type – Specialty Glossy (or ohoto glossy)
- Print Quality – High or Best
- Fill Page – Borderless (this eliminates the need to trim)
- Bleed – If this is an option on your printer, turn it OFF
Once printed, allow the ink to dry
3 – Fold the bag, creating crease lines. The front of the bag should be centred, and the back seam should be in the middle with about a 1/4 inch overlap.
4 – Re-open the paper, making sure the snowman image is centred on the front of the design.
5 – Run a line of tape across the top, the bottom and on one of the sides, on the inside of the chip bag.
6 – Place a resealable zipper bag into the middle of the paper. The top edge of the bag should line up with the top of the paper.
7 – Fold over both sides and press the seams.
8 – Using a paper crimper, crimp the top edge and bottom edge of the bag.
9 – Unseal the top and fill with chips, cookies, candy or even small toys.

Helpful Tips
Alternative Paper Choices
For best results, use Brochure paper or very thin photo paper. I recommend glossy for a more vibrant and professional look. Of course, you can use regular printer paper, which is more budget-friendly, but it just won’t be as vibrant (but the kids will still love them)
Making Snowman Snack Bags without the Resealable Bag
It is not necessary to add a resealable bag, but it is a bonus if you are adding unsealed goodies, such as cookies, greasy chips, or open candy. It prevents the bags from absorbing oils or moisture, making them reusable.
To make the chip bags without the resealable zipper bag, follow the same steps, omitting the insertion of the bag.
Finishing the bags without a Crimper
If you don’t have a crimper but still want a decorative look, you can use decorative-edged scissors and score in some lines, with a scoring tool or a dull butter knife
What to Put Inside the Bags
These printable wrappers fit a wide range of small items, making them great for any occasion. Try filling them with:
- Mini chip bags
- Popcorn
- Candy canes
- Mini chocolates
- Hot cocoa packets
- Small toys or stickers
- Homemade cookies (wrapped first if not using resealable bags)
Get creative! Kids love discovering what’s inside!

I hope you have fun making these easy printable snowman chip bags. They are a delightful way to add festive charm to your holiday treats without spending extra money. They’re quick to assemble, kid-friendly, and perfect for winter parties, gifting, or simply making everyday snacks a bit more magical. Have fun crafting, and enjoy spreading some frosty cheer this season!
