Peppermint Pitted Snowball Cookies

Butter - softened

granulated sugar

vanilla extract

sifted all-purpose flour

Walnuts - finely chopped

Hershey's peppermint kisses

powdered sugar (icing sugar)
Instructions
Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla until so and fluffy.
Add sifted flour and walnuts and blend well.
Chill dough for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 °
Remove all wrappings from hershey's kisses.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use approximately 1 tbsp of dough to cover a hershey's kiss.
Shape each one into a round ball, making sure the kiss is not visible and completely covered.
Bake on parchment paper for aproximiately 12 minutes. Do not let get brown.
Let cool slightly until they are warm.
Roll in powdered sugar.
Chill and store in a tightly sealed container.
