Before printing, check your settings. Brochure paper is thinner than. regular printer paper. We recommend a couple of changes to your settings.

Consider the following settings :

  • Paper Type – Specialty paper – Photo Paper Glossy ( woding is dependent on printer brand)
  • Quality – Best or High
  • Fill Page – make sure it is also borderless
  • Paper Size – US Letter( 8.5 by 11) or (216 by 279mm)
  • Layout – check to make sure it’s the right layout
  • Make sure the paper is placed in your printer correctly. The print should appear on the shiny side.

After printing: Fold the paper so that the back seam overlaps slightly (just enough for the tape), creating crease lines.

Run a line of tape across the top and the bottom.

While the paper is lying flat, lay a plastic zipper bag in the center, in between the crease lines.

Assembling Nativity Snack Bags

Run a line of tape along one side of the center back seam.

Fold the sides over and press the taped areas to adhere.

Using a paper crimper, crimp both the bottom and top edges of the snack bag. Be careful not to go too far along the top. The zipper portion of the bag is too thick to go through the crimper rolls.

You can find them at most bulk stores or craft stores in the candy-making or jewellery supplies area

Making Nativity Snack Bags Non-Resealable Bags

Follow all assembly steps, omitting the addition of the bag. When gluing the edges of the bag, apply the strip of glue across the top of the bag after you have added the candy. You may need scissors to open the bag, she shares. Resealable is ideally the easy way to go, but sometimes insert bags can be hard to find.
