How to Use our Free Printable Santa Candy Bar Wrapper
1 – Download the Free Printable from our free Resource Library to get started. These wrappers fit a standard-sized chocolate bar. They also fit some candy boxes, but not all of them.
2 – Print the candy bar wrapper
Recommended Printer Settings
- Paper Type – Glossy Specialty Paper (or setting to match your paper)
- Print Quality – Best of High
- Some printers also require you to choose the paper type on both the printer screen and the app. Make sure both are the same.
3 – Using your paper trimmer (or scissors) trim around the pointed design.
4 – Check for fit and fold, creating crease lines with the image on the front centred. This makes it easier to get he chocolate bar perfectly centred.
5 – Run a bead of double-sided tape along the edge of the center back seam on one side of the wrapper.
6 – Place the chocolate bar, centred inside the wrapper and fold over and press down the seam.
7 – That’s it! easy peasy. All that’s left now is to give them away.
Helpful Tips
What is the best type of paper for candy bar wrappers?
Thin brochure paper gives the best finished result. If you are making multiples and are on a budget, you can use regular printer paper. They will still look good, but won’t be shiny and vibrant.
When purchasing brochure paper, we recommend a weight of between 25-30 pound paper, which is glossy on one side.
Adding Embelishments
You can add embellishments and get creative. Some ideas include:
- Red glitter for Santa’s suit and hat.
- Bits of faux fur or cotton balls for the beard and fur
- Googly eyes
- a pom pom hanging from the side of Santa’s hat
