How to Make Printable Christian Christmas Snack Bags

Free printable Christian Christmas Snack Bags

First, download the free Printable Christian Christmas Snack Bags for Church. These free printables are for personal use only. They are perfect for Sunday school, Christmas get-togethers and fun family events, but please don’t sell them.

Print the designs on brochure paper.

*When printing, choose borderless, best quality, and glossy photo or glossy specialty paper. Make sure you have loaded the paper into your printer properly. Brochure paper is not typically double-sided, unless you specifically request it to be double-sided.

Create creases by folding and then unfolding. Center the back seam and ensure the front image is centered.

Unfold and on a flat surface, run a line of tape across the inside of the top and bottom edges.

Add a line of tape along one side of the paper. (This will be the back seam.

Place the plastic zipper bag in the middle of the paper, in between the side creases. Ensure the top edges of the zipper bag align with the paper.

Fold over the sides, ensuring that the rear seam is positioned on top of the paper, not adhering to the bag.

Press all seams.

Using a paper crimper, crimp the top and bottom edges of the bag.

Unseal and fill with desired treats.

Repeat for all bags.

Share and enjoy!

Making these Snack bags without the plastic liner bags

We like the liner bags because they make these snack bags resealable and reusable. You can make them easily without the liner bags.

To make them without the liner bag, follow the following steps.

After downloading and printing, create the creases.

Run a line of tape along the top, one side and along the bottom.

Fold carefully, sealing the bottom and the seam. Do not seal the top.

Fill the bag and then press the top seam to seal.

Use the paper crimper to crimp the top and bottom edges.

Be aware that opening the bag can be difficult for little hands. You may want to have scissors on hand, if necessary.

Other Types of Suitable Paper

Any thin paper will work when making these snack bags. The brochure paper is ideal, as it is thin, lightweight (30 lb), and the colours are vibrant. If using plain printer paper, the image will appear dull, but the bag will assemble the same, and the crimper will work as expected.

Papers that do not work are cardstock, thick photo paper, any paper over 36 lb weight and specialty papers, such as sticker paper, velum and printable vinyl paper.

Alternatives to a Paper Crimper

If you don’t have a paper crimper, but still want a decorative edge, here are a couple of easy ways to spruce up the edges.

1 – Use decorative edge scissors to cut the edge of the bottom and top of the bag.

2 – Use a scoring tool or a ruler and a dull knife to score lines.

3 – Fold small accordion folds and press them with the dull edge of a knife or a ruler.

Of course, a crimper will give you the best result, but it’s not necessary.

I hope you enjoy these awesome free printable Christian Christmas Snack Bags. Stay tuned for more great craft and DIY projects.
