Last-minute guests are a common occurrence in our home. These super easy Christmas centerpieces can be thrown together when you are in a rush but still want to add some elegance to your Christmas table.
Rustic but Classy
Use a dark loaf pan, some sprigs of pine and pinecones and some battery-operated wire lights to create this rustic but classic centrepiece.
If you don’t have a dark pan, cover the pan in black felt or black paper.
Place a piece of floral foam into the pan and stick springs of fresh or faux pine into the foam. Nestle pinecones into the pine. Add a battery-operated set of wire sparkle lights throughout the pine. Hide the batter holder in the pine. Turn on the lights!

The Farmhouse Look
Lay pine branches down the center of the table. nestle some pinecones and velvet ornaments into the branches. Place some white candles and pillar candles in the branches.
When using real pine branches protect the surface of the table with a folded-up plastic tablecloth and use flower stem water Tubes to keep the pine fresh.

Small but Classic Christmas Style
Using a simple dessert dish or footed serving bowl, add some floral foam followed by pine stems, pinecones and ornaments. Finish it off by adding a single tapered candle into the center.
Tip – For long tables, make multiples and place them in a row down the center of the table.

Glittery Centerpiece in under 5 Minutes
Grab a large gold or Christmas-coloured bowl and fill it with glittery Christmas ornaments. Add a few bits of faux pine in between some of the balls.
This is probably one of the easiest and quickest to make. It doesn’t require maintenance (fresh water etc) and can be adapted to match your favour colour scheme.

Repurpose a Vintage Wooden Box
Repurpose an old wooden box. Line the box with a ziploc bag and then add a floral foam block. Stick some pine sprigs into the foam. Add some glittery sprigs and jingle bells. Finish it off by tying a ribbon around the outside of the box.

Repurposed Tin Box Centerpiece
Add a block of floral foam to an old metal box. (the rusty the better) Stick faux pine sprigs into the foam. Add berry picks and small birch log pieces.
If using real pine, line the box with a plastic bag or place a plastic container inside to keep the water from leaking out.

Long and Elegant
For a centerpiece that runs the length of the table and doesn’t obstruct the view across the table, add a glittery sequined table runner down the center of the table. Add a long faux pine garland down the center. Nestle ornaments, coloured berry pics or pinecones in the garland.

Repurpose Vintage Ceramic Santas
Repurpose vintage ceramic Santas and reindeer by adding them to the center of the table. Add a faux pie garland down the middle and nestle faux berries and Ceramics into the garland. Add some vintage style dinnerware and you are ready to enjoy a festive evening.

Nutcrackers for a traditional flare
Nutcrackers have been around for a long time and are often easy to find in thrift stores. These are great for easy Christmas centerpieces.
Place vintage (or new) nutcrackers on the table and accentuate with a wooden tray of ornaments and candles. For short nutcrackers, sit them on a wooden box or blocks to add height.

Classic Pillar Candles
No work is involved in the easy table centerpiece. Just add a festive tablecloth and numerous pillar candles in varying sizes. Add a few loose pinecones around the candles

Mason Jars are always in Style
Add a couple of votive candles to a couple of different-sized mason jars. Place them on a tray and sprinkle fake snow around them. Drop a few ornaments in the snow and you are all done. Easy peasy!

Mini Kissing Balls
Use mini kissing balls from the dollar store or make real ones (like our large Cedar Ball Project, only small) Insert a stick or dowl into them and stick them into floral foam in miniature pots. Place them on a tray with a few berries or pine cones.
